Blue Prism support 3rd party web services and SOAP?

ANSWER

Blue Prism can consume third-party web services which are SOAP-based, and we support the 1.2 version. We only support the HTTP protocol, with thesebinding styles:

  • RPC/encoded
  • Document/literal

You can find more detail on the requirements for that in Section 4.1 of the document called “Web Services Guide” available from the Blue Prism Portal, under Product Documentation -> Development -> ‘Blue Prism User Guide – Web Services‘.

There is even a worked example of how to set them up.
